1. Repoussé & Chasing— Kutch, Gujarat
Deep leaf-vine band formed in relief from the reverse, then chased from the front for crisp, polished highlights.
2. Hammer Planishing (Kansari) — Balakati, Odisha
Dense, concentric dimples run across the basin—each struck by a Kansari forging hammer to tighten the metal and catch the light.
- Wipe & buff dry right after serving—no soaking.
- Hand-wash in warm, mild suds; skip abrasives and harsh chemicals.
- Polish gently, when needed, to keep the silver glow true.
- Store solo in a velvet bag - provided to keep it scratch-free.
