A hand-spun aluminium bowl rises on a sleek pedestal, its walls carved into petal-like flutes that catch the light with a liquid sheen. A gold-washed pomegranate sprig—lost-wax cast and undercut—is brazed to the rim, its warm glow playing off the cool silver base.

Aluminium is spun into form, then master hammerers hand-rib it into 16 petal-like flutes, each groove polished to a mirror finish. - Lost-wax gilt pomegranate sprig – Lahore, Pakistan
Silversmiths sculpt a tiny fruiting branch in wax, cast it in brass, apply a fine gold wash and solder it to the platter’s rim. - Pedestal forming & final buff – Karachi, Pakistan The flared stand is spun, welded to the bowl, then the entire piece is buffed smooth—bringing every surface to a unified, light-reflecting gleam
